We accept all major credit cards as well as interac (Debit). We
will also be accepting payments via the secure PayPal online service
for pre-registrations.
Is
rental equipment avaliable?
Yes. Tippman 98 markers will be avaliable for rent the day of the
event. Please note that rentals are avaliable on a first come first
serve basis, so it's a good idea to preregister and reserve if you
need a rental. Rental markers and masks will be $10.00 and also
includes unlimited air. Sorry but we will not be renting jackets
the day of the big game. Tank rentals will not be avaliable to gun
owners.
If
I have trouble with my marker will help be avaliable?
Of course! We have a
fully stocked proshop on site and we will have gun techs avaliable
to assist players if needed.
I've
never played in a big game, how does it work?
Unlike a normal paintball game which is played on a small field
with a few dozen players, for a big game most of the property at
Wasaga Paintball will be in play with the boundry tape between fields
removed. The outside boundries for the big game will be clearly
marked. When a player is eliminated they return to their entry point
and wait for the next insertion window to open and rejoin the game.
Generally you'll never have to wait more than a few minutes to get
back into the action. Last year's big game had over 1,700 players
in attendance.
There will be two armies at Black Reign. Each army will have a general
who will give out commands to his troops. Along with flag stations
scattered around the field that each team will be attempting to
capture and hold there will be objectives throughout the day. Objectives
will be given out by each army's commanding general and take a variety
of forms. At the end of the day the points that each general has
earned throughout the day will be added up and the teams will go
into a final huge game to decide the winner.
Please see the Rules/Scenario page for more specific details on
the game format and rules.

Will food/beverages be avaliable?
Yes.
We have a snack bar that sells various snack foods and beverages
as well as hamburgers and cheeseburgers. You can also bring your
own lunch, however we do not have fridge facilities so you may want
to pack anything perishable into a cooler.
Will
there be door prizes?
Yes. Prizes will be handed out after the game
and players who register before July
31st have a chance to win an laptop and carrying bag.
What
should I bring with me?
It's
a good idea to bring appropriate clothing, good footwear, tight
fiting gloves (such as gardening gloves), sunblock, and bug spray.
If you're a gun owner a set of tools for your marker may come in
handy.
What
are the hours/Date for the event?
Aug
15th, 2009. The big game will go from 10am to 6pm. (Including the
awards ceremony.) The park will be open the day/night before until
9pm for registration and arrivals. We will be open the morning of
the event at 7:30am.
Where
can I put my stuff while I play?
We have a large number of lockers avaliable for players to stash
their gear on a first come first serve basis. Bring your own lock
or borrow one from us for the day. ($5.00 deposit, refundable when
the lock is returned.)
Are paint and smoke grenades allowed?
Paint
grenades are welcome. It's best to make sure a referee is watching
if you're planning on throwing a grenade as it's often hard for
players to tell if they've been hit by a grenade.
Cool burning smoke grenades (Self contained, no external flame)
are generally permitted at Wasaga Paintball, but it depends on the
weather conditions at the field the day of the event. If it's too
dry even cool burning grenades present a fire hazard. Please check
with the game director the day of.
